I doubt I would've been able to resist a book with this title even if it hadn't been written by the founder of Matrix Energetics.
Having read Richard Bartlett's first book Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation and enjoying it greatly, I was a fairly easy sell on his second book. The Physics of Miracles: Tapping in to the Field of Consciousness Potential is a much longer volume than his first offering, with enticing chapter titles such as 'ManyWorlds Theory and You,' and 'Solving the Mystery of Levitation.' The writing is more rich and dense than his first book and probably would be difficult to digest without some previous exposure to Matrix Energetics concepts. Regardless, the ideas the book puts forth are exciting and mind-expanding.
Bartlett's background is as a chiropractor but he has been open to other paradigms of healing since early in his career. He has learned not to limit himself in terms of beliefs and expectations about what's possible, in healing or in life, and encourages readers to do the same.
The signature technique within Matrix Energetics is the "Two-Point," but exactly what this is remains somewhat mercurial to me even after reading both of his books. I think this is because it can be anything. The only guideline is to hold two points, and they can be on the client's body, or one on the body and one out in the air in front of you, or entirely in your imagination. Bartlett writes, "The two-point process provides a measuring tool, which supercharges our ability to notice where we can plug into the grid of the All That Is." He encourages the practitioner to let intuition guide. Release old beliefs and expectations about "reality." Be open to what you see and feel.
At any given time, our conscious minds can only attend to 5 - 7 things at once. However, at any given time, there are thousands, if not millions of things we could be attending to. When doing Matrix Energetics healing work, Richard Bartlett recommends to "Notice what you notice." Since there are so many things to notice, what we end up focusing on must in some way be significant. Bartlett also encourages us to drop our awareness down from our heads and into our hearts. Don't overthink things. Open up to the wiser part of yourself that is connected with the myriad of possibilities all around, the "All That Is." This can be applied in healing as well as in all areas of life.
Be open, says Bartlett. If a specific image enters your mind, such as a historical figure, an animal or even a cartoon character, consider having an internal dialogue with it. Ask it for advice, insight. There are strong elements of shamanic journeying and creative visualization in Matrix Energetics. Honor what pops up. Notice what you notice.
Be creative, says Bartlett. If it feels right, construct a machine in your imagination that easily and effortlessly fixes whatever issue you are dealing with. Better yet, create a laboratory staffed with the best and brightest minds, top-notch scientists who can easily create machines or devices that will fix any problem you bring to them. Hire a pharmacist that can create a pill to cure any ailment. This is all happening at the "Matrix" level, so anything is possible, as long as you're willing to suspend disbelief. (Suggestion: Hire good-natured staff members who LOVE to work with you! :-)
Matrix Energetics seems to be very much about holding an intention to do what's highest and best, seeing what your intuition gives you within that field, and then honoring and acting upon your own impressions as best you can. Matrix Energetics is about expecting miracles.
Bartlett writes, "Awareness, filtered through the medium of your beliefs, generates your experience... Your beliefs about reality and your life can enslave you to the kinds of experiences you are likely to have."
Bartlett encourages us to release old expectations and beliefs about what is possible and be open to the possibility that anything is possible. Spontaneous healing. Reversals of fortune. Quantum leaps. He also believes that the morphogenetic field of the Matrix Energetics system is growing stronger all the time as more and more people tap into it. It's getting easier and easier to learn. Practitioners seem to be getting positive results faster and more efficiently all the time.
I recommend reading both of Richard Bartlett's books and working with the concepts. If you are brand-new to Matrix Energetics, start with his first book. Read (and play) with an open mind. Who knows... you might start manifesting miracles! |
